We are a group of young professionals, coming from different fields of expertise and united by the will to speak for our home, for our society, for our people.

Boris Dolin (Founder, CEO) – Specializing in military strategy, national security management and international relations, Boris spent recent years working with Israeli and international groups, telling the story of Israel and the Jewish people. Among others, he is working with the Birthright project and leads seminars in Poland, following the life and destruction of European Jewry. These days Boris starts his Ph.D. researching the Soviet intervention in the Israeli-Egyptian conflict of 1970.

Dennis Kovalyov (Founder, CIO) – A hi-tech specialist and entrepreneur, Dennis decided that career and professional success are not enough. He was one of the original founders of Telem, devoted to the idea that the Jewish/Israeli story should be heard and the objective information regarding the topic should be easy and fun to access. For him working with Telem is a continuation of his years in service. Today Dennis is working on the creation of TelemNY – the American branch of Telem.

Sharon Kazhdan (Board) – Coming from a Yemenite-Jewish family, Sharon’s roots go back long into the Jewish tradition. Serving in the IAF and a graduate of Strategic Studies, Sharon decided to take a different path. She now works in Bar-Ilan University, creating and managing programs for students with special needs. Sharon chose to promote Israel’s security through Telem.

Michael Gorn (Board) – Growing up in NY, Michael participated in various Jewish movements. In his travels around the world he was exposed to the need to spread the core story of the Jewish people, which he did by his own initiative before joining Telem. Working in the computer world, Michael became a facilitator of communities, creating connections between young Jewish people around the globe.

Masha Merkulova (Board) – Working as a labor and delivery room nurse in San-Francisco, Masha is busy in bringing new life into the world. Yet, she finds time to participate in numerous Jewish activities in the Bay area. She is the head of the Rimon Group and the creator of Club Z, an educational forum of Jewish teenagers designed to strengthen their Jewish identity.    

Itay Zider (Operations) – A team leader in IDF’s rescue unit, Itay comes from the Hi-tech world, working with major corporations and coordinating multi-national teams around the globe. Exposed to people from different cultures and backgrounds, Itay works to expose as many as possible to the Israeli story. In his academic life, Itay studies the field of mass communications.

Yelena Sigal (Analytics) – Coming from Chicago, Yelena decided to spend her life in Jerusalem, the only place she calls home. A microbiologist, she chose to leave a promising career and devote herself to the building of Israel. A Jewish activist in the US, Telem was an obvious choice for Yelena.

Inna Gorstein (Content) – Specializing in Jewish history, Inna worked for years with youth groups and leadership programs from the world of Russian-speaking Jewry in order to strengthen the connections between them and the Jewish/Israeli story. An expert in the study of anti-Semitism, she joined Telem in order to raise the awareness to this story around the world.

Moshe Linetsky (PR & Logistics)– An IDF officer, Moshe spent recent years working as a coordinator with the Israel Experience, a subsidiary of the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI). Due to his work, thousands of young Jewish people arrived to Israel and spent time in different educational programs. An educator in soul and an experienced field coordinator, Moshe believes that the words we speak become the world we live in.
